Holiday celebrations are highlights of each semester. They bring together students from across campus to celebrate, learn, and connect with each other and Jewish traditions in new and familiar ways.
Our Spring semester will begin with a Tu B'Shevat Shabbat - a celebration of the beginnings of regrowth and renewal even in this darkest of seasons. We look forward to creative celebrations of Purim - and a reminder that we can and need to continue to find joy even as we approach the one year mark of the pandemic. Although held virtually we are looking forward to a meaningful and pluralistic seder. Our year will continue as we honor and remember the Holocaust at Yom HaShoah, honor and remember the lives lost in service of the independence of the State of Israel at Yom HaZikaron, and a celebrate Israel's birthday and the miracles of the modern state at Yom Ha'atzmaut. We will conclude with Shavuot, as we celebrate our year of learning and community.
